Welcome to my portfolio. I am Cherie Chillin’ Kabba, an award-winning graphic artist, and a spoken word artist. I am the Publisher for The Soultown Magazine, Graphic Designer, Certified Google Cloud Digital Leader and Award-Winning Spoken Word Artist. I have earned an AAA degree in Graphic Communications, a BS in Business, an MBA, and a Masters in Information Systems.
In 2015, I stepped away from the day-to-day to launch The Soultown Magazine in 2017, my passion project. I have returned to working with an International Technology Network where we have traveled to Dakar, Senegal; Dublin, Ireland, Munich, Germany, and more than 30 states to train youth about digital multi-media and the art of the spoken word.
My favorite software programs are:
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe InDesign
• Adobe Premiere
• Adobe After Effects
• Google Slides
• Google docs
Here are some samples below, but I have many, many more.

The Saddest Story Never Told is a poem I wrote nearly 20 years ago. I am exploring various software to determine the style I enjoy the best to illustrate spoken word.
Spoken word expresses the true feelings of the poet.
A few weeks back, my ancestors gave me a word to speak to my CEO, Peter Fortenbaugh. On the 5th day of Kwanzaa, I shared my NIA/PURPOSE ...a spoken word piece. I am a descendent of West African Griots. We are storytellers, singers, musicians, and oral historians. We keep the records of all the births, deaths, marriages through the generations of the village or family using rhythm and rhyme. This project is my gift to him ... see what happens when words come to life. ~ Chillin da Conscious Poet
By no means is this a comprehensive preview of Google GKE & Kubernetes. As a Cloud Fellow, I use rhythm and rhyme to help me understand my weekly assignments. Next week, Cloud Run!
