The Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula and The Forest High School Center presents the Please Don't Kill My Vibe Poets. We launched a Poster/Video Campaign; Please Listen to My Eyes, in the Fall of 2020 to capture this moment in time.
11 weeks ago, the roles of BGCP staff members, volunteers, friends, and families turned topsy turvy. Immediately we were sheltered in place due to the Coronavirus, COVID 19 crisis and we began virtual programming for hundreds of youth and serving hot meals for families in our communities.
The Soultown is a magazine where a group of writers and spearheaded a project that would fulfill a promise she made to her ancestors while visiting The House of Slaves on Goree Island ... off the coast of Dakar, Senegal, West Africa.
